Meet Christy Reed

Christy Reed is a full time residential Listing Specialist with Compass. She is well versed in real estate with resale and new construction housing backgrounds.

Christy first began her career in residential real estate and was quickly approached by a home builder for Team Lead in promoting and selling a community that had not proven successful prior. With her heavy background in strategy development, communication, direction and client retention, she not only sold out the community, she closed it out within an 8 month time period. For this achievement, she won the Award of Excellence from the Home Builders Association in 2017.

Prior to real estate, Christy had no sales experience. She was in a high pressure position as Lead Paralegal and Director for a top performing travel trial team. She was responsible for developing case strategy, direction, logistics, communication, maintaining client relationships and supporting research.

Christy is an extrovert at heart and loves people. She is friendly and approachable, but direct with her clients. Sometimes that means having conversations with people on things that they really need to hear vs. what they want to hear. She thrives on developing strategies, home interior design, perfecting techniques and negotiations. She also believes every home has a buyer and that no home is too difficult to sell.

Christy is also armed with an entire marketing department and the benefits of being affiliated with a TECH company. One of the things that sets her apart and allows her to achieve her level of success and proven track record is the level of marketing that is put behind every single listing.
